the strike was initiated bcoz of the new implemented penalty on traffic violations...

for ex.
before a no u-turn or no ryt/left turn violation costs a 270peso-fine....now its already 5,270pesos.... (plus 5k...ang uban plus 1k..)

dats y nag strike ang mga jeepney drivers...
